This is a now page. It's a snapshot of what I'm currently focused on.
In the upcoming winter semester, I will once again be the head TA for "Introduction to Programming" and focus on teaching software engineering concepts to students. It is my seventh time as a tutor.
As part of a university project, I am conducting research in IT security at AISEC Fraunhofer in the area of side-channel analysis at the moment. Besides that, I am working on publishing a paper based on a recent university project.
In cooperation with the "German Museum" in Munich and the LMU, I am creating a web application that makes a virtual, simplified version of the "Eitz Reinharmonium" accessible to everyone.
I recently started working at Rudolf GmbH, where I am developing a simplified electronic lab journal.
My "passion project" SwimResults is software for swimming competitions that brings live information to the devices of the participants and their friends. During the summer, I am taking a short break from working on SwimResults, but every now and then I find time to improve the software for event organisers and support the new DSV8 standard.
Besides my all-time favourite "Minecraft," I recently started a new game in "Red Dead Redemption 2," focusing a lot on the details, small dialogues, and encounters that I did not notice when playing the game for the first time. I also started a new world in "Transport Fever 2" not just to build a large railway system on a bigger map, but also to manage my excitement for the upcoming third iteration of the game.
In summer this year, I finally got interested again in reading books. I am still trying to decide whether reading is actually making my life better and helping me improve myself, or if it is just another way of entertaining myself. I am mostly reading thrillers from Sweden or Norway.
