This is a now page. It's a snapshot of what I'm currently focused on.
After writing and publishing my first Swift application I recently was able to get my first Android app using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose into the Google Play Store. Since then I am still learning about new functionality and I keep improving my app.
By building my own portfolio website I am most recently learning a lot about React and Next.js.
In cooperation with the "German Museum" in Munich and the LMU I am creating a web application that makes a virtual simplified version of the "Eitz Reinharmonium" accessible to everyone.
In a seminar project at the chair for applied education technologies I am part of a team that builds a new tool for assessing equal contributions of students in university programming assignments by finding useful metrics and LLM-based categorisation of the meaningfulness of student's contributions.
As a head TA for "Introduction to Programming" and a TA for "Patterns in Software Engineering" I focus on teaching software engineering concepts to students. Even though this is already my fifth time being a tutor, I keep learning new things when interacting with the students. Additionally, I am taking two courses in music at the LMU ("Satzlehre" and "Formenlehre"), which is not just surprisingly interesting but also broadens my horizon towards the humanities.
My "passion project" SwimResults is a software for swimming competitions that brings live information to the devices of the participants and their friends. Currently, I focus on refining the recently published Android app as well as new tools for simplifying the integration process for new competitions and customers (SwimResults Manager). Therefore, I am also working on expanding the supported timing systems and software to support OMEGA systems with CPS-Schwimm.
Besides my all-time favourite "Minecraft" I recently started a new game in "Red Dead Redemption 2" focusing a lot on the details, small dialogues and encounters that I did not notice when playing the game the first time. I also started a new world in "Transport Fever 2" not just to build a large railway system on a bigger map but also to manage my excitement for the upcoming third iteration of the game.
